"SILVER EAGLE" IS LATEST RADIO SINGLE FROM THE KODY NORRIS SHOW

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Supporting Video To Be Released September 24

Charlottesville, VA (September 5, 2025)—Rebel Records is excited to announce a new focus track from The Kody Norris Show"Silver Eagle" is the fifth radio single off of the band's highly successful album Highfalutin Hillbilly which rose to #3 on the September Bluegrass Unlimited Album Chart. Additionally, the band is set to make their eighth appearance on The Grand Ole Opry tonight!

While the last radio single “Ruby Jane” celebrated the triumph of true love, “Silver Eagle” tells a different story. It chronicles the travails of a singer left behind by his former love for rhinestones and riches, clinging to nothing but his old guitar and the blues he was born to sing. With lonesome lyrics, a down-to-earth melody, and a universal theme of chasing dreams through hard times, “Silver Eagle” is a perfect fit for any bluegrass playlist that values honesty, heartbreak, and true-to-the-bone storytelling.

"I always love discovering an uncovered gem and this one from the catalog of Jake Landers (co-written with Ben Johnson) is just that," shares Kody Norris. "I first discovered the Dixie Gentleman through a suggestion from Herschel Sizemore when he said, 'you should check out some of our old stuff especially the ones written by Jake as I think some of it would suit you.' I took a deep dive into it and found "Silver Eagle" to be one that just really stuck with me! Such a fine piece of bluegrass literature with a great story!"

For "Silver Eagle," Kody Norris delivers the lead with heartfelt vocals and guitar, while Josiah Tyree’s harmonies add lonesome depth. Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris and Jason Barie’s twin fiddles weave mournful lines through the melody, anchored by Charlie Lowman’s steady bass and lifted by Tony Creasman’s tasteful percussion.

ABOUT THE KODY NORRIS SHOW

While the reigning SPBGMA Entertainers of the Year are known for the rhinestones that shine from their lapels and the fringe that hangs from their collars that seems to conjure up memories of times gone by, The Kody Norris Show is very much directing their gaze forever forward. The four-piece bluegrass band is made up of front man Kody Norris on guitar, Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris playing both fiddle and mandolin, banjo ace Josiah Tyree, and Charlie Lowman on the bass. The Kody Norris Show’s album All Suited Up (2021) charted at #7 and Rhinestone Revival (2023) at #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart, and their trademarked high-energy style delivers an unrivaled live show experience. To date, The Kody Norris Show has performed at the Grand Ole Opry multiple times, leaving the stage with a standing auditorium. In addition, the band has played the Ryman Auditorium, SiriusXM, and other stages worldwide.
